How does booking a tattoo work?+
Send your desired motif, placement and rough size through the form on this page. Maya will get back to you for a consultation and a fitting appointment.
How much does a tattoo cost?+
Pricing depends on size, placement and complexity of the design. After the consultation you'll receive an individual estimate — a minimum price per session applies for smaller pieces.
Do I need to pay a deposit?+
Yes, a deposit is required to confirm your appointment. Details are discussed during the personal consultation.
What is the minimum age for a tattoo?+
Tattoos are only done for clients aged 18 and older.
Do you design custom pieces?+
Yes, every custom motif is designed for you and your body shape. There are also selected flash designs available one-time only — see Sketches.
How should I prepare for my appointment?+
Come well rested, fed and hydrated. Please avoid alcohol for 24 hours before your appointment, as it affects skin and healing.
How do I take care of a fresh tattoo?+
You'll receive detailed aftercare instructions and product recommendations at your appointment. In general: keep it clean, apply a thin layer of cream, avoid direct sun and swimming until fully healed.
Do you do cover-ups or touch-ups?+
Cover-up and touch-up inquiries are welcome — ideally with photos of the existing tattoo, sent through the form.
Where is the studio located?+
The studio is located in Hannover. Full directions are on the "Studio" page.
Do you take international clients or guest spots?+
Yes, Maya regularly guests at conventions and partner studios. Upcoming dates are announced on Instagram.
